A quarter of an hour from Argelès-Gazost, in the Azun Valley, our friendly gîte welcomes you all year round with family and friends. Ideally located for nature lovers! The space Beautiful house of 120 m2 on 450 m2 of greenery, two terrace spaces (wood and lawn) offering double exposure. Garden table, barbecue, nice stone wall of the country and magnificent view of the surrounding mountains including the Pic du Midi d'Arrens! On the ground floor, large bright living room with central stove, exposed beams and large dining table (underfloor heating in addition). This large room offers stunning views of the Pouey Laûn chapel, a listed historic monument. Living room area overlooking a large bay window (sofa convertible into a double bed). Wooden staircase and light walls that give a warm look to the rooms. Equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, gas stove, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer). On the same level, small bedroom (double bed) with adjoining rooms, a shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs, 2 large attic bedrooms with a dominant chalet-like wood (a double bed in each and an extra single bed for one of them). Bright hallway constituting a very cocooning TV corner. Large bathroom with toilet. Parking space – linen provided – wifi access. Our valley offers a wide variety of tourist and sports activities. Its magnificent village churches, its typical and preserved architecture, its many outdoor activities (hiking and GR, for fishermen, the Gave d'Azun passes 2 minutes walk from the gîte, near the Gave de Pau, the Gave d'Estaing, Lake Estaing and Lake Tech, paragliding schools, marked mountain bike circuits, 2 mythical passes of the Tour de France, the Soulor and the Aubisque...) and winter sports (cross-country stations 15 minutes away – downhill stations 40 minutes away), relaxation and well-being (thermal-fun/balneotherapy area at the foot of the valley) will make you have pleasant moments! Arrens is the last village before the Pyrenees National Park. Nature is omnipresent.
