Tastefully furnished with a mixture of Asian and English antiques, this comfortable home is just a couple of streets away from the River Thames, the Thames Path and riverside pubs. Very good transport connections to central London and Heathrow by tube and bus. Also very convenient for Imperial College in White City and South Kensington. A very good choice for a sole female traveller looking for reasonably priced accommodation with some home comforts. The space The bedroom occupies the entire top floor of the house so is very private. It is very spacious and has a large south facing window overlooking the garden and neighbouring gardens so lots of natural light.. Very comfortably furnished with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and desk next to the window. New ensuite bathroom with large walk in shower. Weekly cleaner. Please note this is a very large double room, but bookings are only for a single person. Guest access Guests can use the kitchen to make tea, coffee and light meals and store food in the fridge. Please note fresh food is not to be kept in the room. Use of the laundry. There is a pretty garden which is accessible via the sitting room. During your stay I work part time teaching English to foreign professionals, but I am generally at home at some point during the day for advice/help. I have lived overseas for a long time and I enjoy meeting people from other parts of the world. Other things to note Please note that there are two cats so people need to be comfortable with having them around. I also have a daughter in her 30s who lives with me.
