As our Yurt is off the grid, there is no power or bathroom facilities. However, don't worry! We've got you covered. We provide a portable charger, candles, battery-powered string lights, lanterns, a headlamp to create a cozy ambiance. Next to the Yurt, you can find an outhouse, and upon request, we can hang a solar shower bag for your convenience (summer only). Inside the Yurt, you will find a kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including spices, sugar, honey, tea, coffee, flour, oil, vinegar, pots and pans, and 10 gallons of drinking water. If you are a barbecue enthusiast, make use of the grill on the porch. We also provide a large cooler, so be sure to bring your own ice. The Yurt's porch wraps around, allowing you to relax and take in the stunning surroundings. We have even built a windbreak to ensure your comfort. Don't let winter deter you from experiencing the magic of our yurt. It stays cozy year-round (wood stove), offering a unique opportunity to enjoy the winter wonderland. We provide you with all the firewood you will need! The Poudre Canyon is only a 10 minute drive away, offering the perfect escape. Enjoy activities, including hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, and kayaking. We do live on the property. You will have full privacy, and other than a wave by driving by we tend not to interact with our guests. The closest town to our property is La Porte, a unique community located just 3.5 miles away. Situated along the picturesque Cache La Poudre River. Indulge in some delicious pie at Me Oh My Coffee and Pie or groove to live music at Swing Station while sipping a cold beer.
