Romantic escape. The Stable Cottage, Horrabridge

The stable cottage is a beautiful one bedroom self catering apartment within the former coach house of the Victorian vicarage. Opulent bedding, cosy log burner, gardens, stones throw from Horrabridge. Guests enjoy total privacy overlooking the surrounding countryside. Horrabridge is within Dartmoor National Park, spectacular for walking and cycling . Dogs and children are welcome. The space The large bedroom (4.7m x 4.4m) offers ample space with a king size bed with luxury bedding set under a vaulted ceiling. Exposed stone work and original timbers add to the experience of staying. The ensuite provides a large walk-in shower. Double doors leads to the living area where a kitchenette includes everything you need for a comfortable stay. A gas oven and hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, washing machine and dishwasher. Plenty of utilities to self cater. There is a table and chairs for two, as well as a comfy sofa and log burner for those cold winter nights. A smart TV allows guests to watch their usual channels plus Netflix, BBC iplayer,and other catchup services. WiFi throughout the cottage. On arrival there’s are complimentary drinks, milk, juice, tea and fresh coffee so you can just relax and enjoy your holiday without having to immediately pop to the shops! We are a very dog friendly family and happy to welcome you’re dog however we ask for an additional £20 cleaning fee if you bring a dog. Please contact us to arrange payment of this. Only one dog is able to stay. Guests with bikes can store these along side our own bikes in a locked garage. We have ample off road parking. If needed we can provide travel cot, high chair and children's toys and books. We want to keep our guests and ourselves as safe as possible with the ongoing COVID pandemic. We have a contactless check in where guests can let themselves in using the key in our lockbox. The cottage will have been left vacant before your arrival and thoroughly cleaned. Bed linen and towels are washed at 60 degrees and all surfaces sanitised. We are always available by phone during your stay if you should need anything at all, but otherwise will avoid physical contact with guests.
