Cabin in La Farge

Enjoy a weekend off the grid in our rustic cabin on 30 acres of wooded serenity. Watch the sunset on the covered porch, or relax around a campfire. Feel free to explore the woods taking a hike on the network of trails. Nearby you can visit winery's, Wildcat Mountain State Park, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and more. The driftless region is known for great fishing, scenic drives through the hills and biking. Contact us about additional camp sites on the property for larger groups. The space The cabin is a small single room cabin with a sleeping loft, wrap around porch and out- door privy. There is no power or running water, but we provide a 5 gallon container of water and several battery powered lanterns, under cabinet lights and some decorative porch lights. The space is heated in winter by a wood stove or a small propane space heater if you are not around to stoke the fire. Firewood is provided. There are additional tent pads around the cabin for larger groups. Guest access Private drive with access to cabin and 30 wooded acres of hiking trails. Mountain bikes are welcome, but please no ATV/UTV use on the property. No hunting access is allowed.
