Private Hawks Nest oasis, close to both beaches

Our beach house is spacious, with a leafy garden in a quiet cul-de-sac. It has sunny decks on three sides, great for indoor/outdoor living. It has just been fully renovated, with a state of the art kitchen, and new bathroom. Our NBN (average download speed of 43 Mbps) allows you to work remotely. In the evening, relax with Wifi and Netflix. Only a 500m walk to both the surf beach and the still water of Port Stephens. Five minutes' walk to the shops and cafes of Hawks Nest. The space Our home is comfortable year-round, with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area, and large sliding doors with insect screens, on three sides of the living rooms, leading onto expansive decks for indoor-outdoor living. For cold winter days and hot summer nights, we have fully ducted reverse cycle air conditioning to all rooms, including the bedrooms and bathroom. The house is sunny and light, surrounded by trees and garden. As well as an outdoor setting for eight, we have two comfy Adirondack style loungers, on the front deck, perfect for an evening drink. We are in a koala corridor, and periodically we see a koala in our garden. The bird life is amazing, with lorikeets, kookaburras and enormous black cockatoos as frequent visitors. The brand new kitchen (September 2024) is well equipped with a four door fridge/ freezer, an induction cook top, full oven, microwave and dishwasher and all appliances. Outside is a Weber BBQ and an outdoor setting. The dining room seats six, and we also have a high chair available. There is a separate bath and shower in the bathroom, which looks out onto a pond and walled garden. We have a second toilet in the separate laundry. There is also a hot and cold outdoor shower in the private garden. The new TV is a large 65 inch HD screen. We provide WiFi (NBN) with an average download speed of 43Mbps, and Netflix for our guests, and we have a good selection of toys, books and games. Our new Addon bluetooth speaker delivers quality sound of your own choosing from your phone or other device. A supply of basic amenities is provided. We do not provide bed linen and towels, however, these can be hired for a small fee from our local agent. Charges for linen and towel hire and bed making are $25 per bed. If you wish to hire linen and have the beds made up prior to your arrival, please notify our local agent at least 48 hours in advance where possible, so that this can be done for you. There is a secure lock up garage and off street parking for a second car. Guest access The entire house and garden is accessible. Other things to note Please note that the only linen we provide is doona covers. If you don’t want to bring your own linen and towels they can be hired from our agent for $25 per bed. When you hire linen the beds will be made up before you arrive, as long as you contact the agent directly, at least 48 hours prior to arrival, in order to give them time to do this.
