Spacious quiet garden flat, sleeps 4 comfortably

Chite is a small village in the Lecrin Valley surrounded by orange and olive groves, overlooking Beznar lake. It is within walking distance of shops and services and 5 minutes by car to the A44 motorway which takes you north to Granada and south to the costa tropical beaches. The city and coast are only 25 minutes away. The Alpujarran villages and the Sierra Nevada for walking / skiing are also within easy reach, as is Granada airport (40 min), Malaga (1 hr20 min) and Almeria( 1 hr 30). The space The whole flat can be used by 2-5 people. I can offer a discount if you are only two people or a family of three including a child but would like both bedrooms. If you need only one bedroom please book on the Quiet Garden Flat listing which is cheaper. The 3 main rooms of The Garden Flat open directly into a covered patio with a fish pond and an enclosed garden. It is very tranquil with the views of the garden from all rooms. Both bedrooms having en suite bathrooms. Bedroom 2, the Blue Room has a single bed in addition to a standard double. Bedroom 1, the Red Room has a large double bed and the bathroom has a bath and bidet. The single bed can be moved into this room if preferred. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering and as we live above you can ask for any additional equipment. There are tables for dining both inside and outside. The TV has a DVD player or you can connect it to your own device. An easy to use wood pellet stove provides central heating in winter. Guest access In addition to the rooms described you have complete access to the garden and use of garden furniture. It is ashared space as I need to weed, water etc. I can usually do this when you are out. There is a solar hot tub / plunge pool for seasonal use. Other things to note You should book your tickets for the Alhambra well in advance of your visit on the official website. Tickets are around €14 unless you want a guided tour. We provides towels, sheets etc. We live above the flat so if there are things you have forgotten or need we are usually there to help. All shops are closed on Sundays. If you arrive by plane late on a Saturday or on a Sunday send us a shopping list a few days in advance. The TV screen has a DVD player and there is a selection of DVDs. You can connect it to your own device. You will need to check what channels are available on your device when you are abroad. Walking routes are available on many web sites. I recommend treksierranevada. Most of these walks are less than 45 min from here and are all spectacular in their own ways. It would be worth colour printing the maps and descriptions for any that you want to do. I can recommend local walks directly from the house or from nearby villages. We have guide books. We don’t have air conditioning but do provide fans. The plunge pool is 180x150 cm and 150cm deep with a seat. It is fun for cooling off in July and Aug. Non swimmers would need flotation devices.
