The living room has a sofa bed with a comfortable mattress, for 2 people. TV and DVD player. The kitchen area is fully equipped. Bathroom, atypical with its exposed rock, toilet. Accommodation is suitable for 2-4 people, or for a couple with children. Every Thursday evening, the night market will delight your taste buds with the tasting of farm ice cream made with sheep's milk or Thai ice cream. ST JEAN is also an opportunity to discover the small train station, the starting point, every day, of the famous little Cévennes Steam Train! Several schedules will allow you to discover beautiful landscapes overlooking the Gardon, while reaching the small town of Anduze. On the way, you can benefit (and we recommend it), from a stop at La Bambouseraie. The expanse of bamboo and Japanese maples are a pleasure for the eyes. Many medieval villages, high perched castles or Camisard caves hidden in the garrigue are to be discovered near the house. (Anduze 15 min, Ste Croix-de-Caderle 20 min, Sauve 30 min, Tornac, 20 min). It is 30 minutes from our Mas, in Mialet. To cool off, there's nothing like a dip in the Gardon! The water that descends, among other things, from the mountains of Mont Aigoual (1 hr 20 min from the house but really worth seeing if you have the time!!), is crystal clear and a beautiful blue. The Mediterranean Sea is just over an hour away. Perfect for a beach day.
