Description
The cottage ‘Lichtberg 2’ is the smaller of the two neighbouring organic houses (see also ‘Lichtberg 1’). It is enchantingly secluded in the garden and by the field - and yet very close to the city (10 minutes to the university, city centre, main station and motorway) and has been renovated with high-quality materials in line with building biology. A beautiful home for 2 or 3 guests who like to hike, meditate or simply enjoy the healthy offside. Car park with electric wall - payment to the host The space Everyone raves about this enchanting, detached little house, which was originally built in 1908 as a wash house. Now it is a wonderful hostel for people who want a retreat, peace and quiet and closeness to nature - with the very best privacy: own entrance, own car park, own terrace with adjoining large meadow, which guests from the larger holiday home may also use. And yet: you can be in Trier city centre, the university, the main railway station or the motorway in just 10 minutes by car! This holiday home ‘Lichtberg 2’ has been rated by the German Tourism Association according to the DTV classification and awarded 3 stars, which means that it is a very well-equipped house with all the comfort you need to arrive immediately, feel at home and relax. The great healing water from the tap, the tranquillity and the good air support your health; you notice it very quickly. And if there is still time to enjoy the unspoilt nature right next door - there are countless paths for hiking or mountain biking - you have booked an all-round package for the relaxation of body, mind and soul with this holiday home. Allergy sufferers please let me know in advance; then I will take the carpet out of the bedroom, and then the rooms and all materials are suitable for allergy sufferers. good restaurants and shops for daily needs are also within walking distance, by car less than 10 minutes. The e-charging station (self-generated solar power) may be used for a fee to recharge the e-car. Guest access Private parking next to the host's house, where there is also an electric charging station; from there, a footpath through the garden to the house. The key to your private front door is in a key box. Private terrace with electric grill (please inquire) and furniture. Enjoy the very best healing water (Grander), which flows from all the taps. Hiking trails begin beyond the host's large garden. To protect against electrosmog, Wi-Fi is available, which can be turned off. A modern LAN network is available (simply plug in your laptop - two connections can be used simultaneously), as well as satellite TV (HD) and a stereo system. For cooking, a new stove (ceramic hob) with an oven is always available, as are basic supplies such as salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, sugar, broth, coffee, herbal tea, coffee and tea filters, and a toaster. The daylight bathroom (window overlooking the forest) with underfloor heating is very large. The very spacious shower is accessible at ground level. Next to the large sink is a brand new washer-dryer. Two different washing powders are provided, making it possible to wash and dry laundry (put in in the morning, ready to go by midday) without any hassle - €3 per wash and dry cycle to the hostess. Other things to note I like to greet and support my guests, but I keep a discreet distance unless I am approached. If you have any questions, just come and see me; I'm your neighbour! About 150 metres behind the ‘Lichtberg’ estate, behind the trees, runs an armoured road of the German army. About once a week, engineers drive one or more tanks along it to check their suitability; they never shoot. This noise lasts about 10 minutes, very rarely 20 minutes, and then disturbs the silence, never in the evening or at night, never at weekends. The accommodation tax (3.5 % of the rent per person and night) is included in the price and is paid by me to the city of Trier.
