Private entry to a light-filled, “tiny house”-style space equipped with all you need--super comfortable KING-size bed, luxurious linens, bathroom w/shower & lots of hot water, small kitchen with all the basics, a lovely porch. Walking distance to UW, light rail, shops, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. On-street parking. Easy access to all of Seattle. Now with A/C! The space Cozy in winter, airy, shady and air-conditioned in summer, the studio cottage adjacent to our classic craftsman home is perfect for an individual or couple and is all yours. The space is bright, with high, beamed ceilings and lots of light. The kitchen features a microwave, induction burner, refrigerator/freezer, pour-over coffee set-up, and all the equipment you'll need for morning coffee or tea and simple meals. PLEASE NOTE: because we care for my elderly, vulnerable mother, we appreciate knowing in advance if our guests are fully COVID-vaccinated, to allow us to make special arrangements if necessary. We are very thorough in our cleaning/disinfecting protocols, so we hope you'll feel safe and comfortable here. Guest access The private entrance with keyless entry makes check-in easy. Whenever possible, we like to greet our guests their first day -- after that, we are available to answer questions or help in any way we can. Guests are welcome to enjoy the shared back porch with its tree-filled view and barbecue whenever they like. Other things to note Extremely fast Wi-Fi is provided, as is a wall-mounted TV for viewing movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube TV, etc. (some services may require your login). This is a family neighborhood and we value our neighbors, so please plan to keep noise to a minimum.
