Sleeps 8 in main house and 2 in self contained guest accommodation. 5 minutes from historic town of Pezenas with famous food market, cafe's and stylish shops. . Surrounded by vineyards and wine domaines. Near to great beaches and rivers for watersports, picnics. Close to stunning city of Montpellier and 4 major airports. The space The house has been thoughtfully restored with a mixture of original features and high quality materials and is in a lovely setting within a quiet square. Aumes has a tranquil atmosphere and being on a hill gives lovely views across the surrounding vineyards and wooded garrigue. The established garden is sheltered by stone walls. The covered pergola has a outdoor dining table and soft sofa seating facing a tiled 8 x 4 pool with large gentle steps, perfect for children or the elderly. The pool can now be heated during the cooler months (please enquire). A second pergola is located at the end of the garden for additional shade. There are sunbeds with cushions and an outdoor shower. There is an air con unit on each floor of the house. The high spec kitchen with an adjoining utility room leads on to a comfy sitting room with original stone fireplace and woodburner, 50" TV, satellite with Apps, Canal plus, TF1. Within the garden is a self contained guest gite with living room, first floor bedroom and a walk in en-suite shower room, own patio, with a fully equipped kitchen. Ideal if you are sharing with other families, grandparents or if any members wish to have extra privacy. For remote workers, fast, fibre optic WiFi has recently been installed. Guest access The entire house, garden and pool are exclusively for use of guests. The additional guest accommodation is also included in the rental. Other things to note Outside the garden is walled and has a large pergola with a tiled roof, this gives shaded cover to a marble dining table seating up to 10. There is a webber barbecue for outdoor cooking. The garden is laid to lawn one side of the 8 x 4m pool with mediterranean planting. The main terrace outside of the french doors leads to the pool area. There is a guest house separate from the main house with own patio area and 2nd dining table, ideal for extended family or friends. There are sun loungers and deckchairs for relaxing by the pool and plenty of space for sunbathing. The balcony from the main bedroom also has two chairs for catching the evening sun with a nice view of surrounding countryside. The garden faces south and enjoys tranquility and peace. The mosaic tiled pool has shallow steps and a hand rail for ease of access. The pool can be heated if required during cooler months for a small additional cost (please enquire).
