Minutes by car to DC monuments and hot spots: Clarendon, Dupont Circle, Georgetown, Old Town Alexandria, Nat'l Airport & shopping. SAME DAY CHECK IN: Must call ahead so we can have everything ready. The space This bright studio space is in a section of our home's basement. It has a private entrance, lots of space and natural light. Please look at our reviews. Granite countertops, bathroom with large shower, and rustic, wood-look tiles on the floor. You enter using a code, so no key is required. You can arrive at any time during your booking and come and go as you please. Linens, towels and comfy pillows are provided. There's a kitchenette stocked with everything you need to prepare meals and a dining area so you can buy food at the local Harris Teeter or Whole Foods and eat in. We provide pots and pans, flatware and glasses. Our rate is comparable to what others charge for a simple bedroom, and it is well below the nightly rate for a local hotel. There is a queen size bed, and we can bring out a small twin bed when requested. We are pet and kid friendly (just let us know what your needs are when you make your reservation). Guest access You have a separate entrance and can come and go as you please using a keypad on the door. This space is a spacious studio apartment in our home's basement. There is free street parking with a dashboard placard we will lend you. You can request to use our washer and dryer--just let us know when you need it. Other things to note We are pet friendly! Our studio has a separate entrance, and different locks from the rest of the house. The door between the studio and the rest of the house is closed and locked for your privacy. We have installed special insulation and to keep noise down, and guests have an alarm clock/sound machine to mask any household noise during the day and evening. The unit is heated and cooled from the house HVAC, but there is also window air conditioner, a radiant space heater, and a fan for your comfort.
