Your spacious three-room suite + outdoor patio + shared-kitchen-use provide all the comforts of home. Arroyo Grande's microclimate is not to be beaten. Nowhere in our county will you find a more temperate climate, rarely getting too hot, too cold or too foggy. As a first-time host I'll do all I can to make your stay the best it can be. Shared-use of spacious kitchen with a coffee-maker, tea kettle, toaster, plates, glasses and flatware; a guest counter with organic coffee and an assortment of organic teas and jams. Refrigerator and microwave are available for use. So too is a small cable TV viewable in the kitchen and from the dinette. I've lived in Arroyo Grande since 1998 and will be happy to suggest restaurants, sights to see, hiking trails and local goings-on. Located in a peaceful secluded enclave with a walking trail nearly a mile long through live oaks. The Village of Arroyo Grande is a short walk away, and has a post office, park, fun shops, a yoga studio, farmer's market (Saturdays), coffee shops, restaurants, Doc Burnstein's ice cream parlor and a performing arts center. Grover, Avila and Pismo beaches are all within 10-15 minutes by car, and San Luis Obispo is but a 20-minute drive by freeway or through the scenic Edna Valley. A bus service is available in the Village for rides throughout San Luis Obispo County, and Amtrak stations are located 15 minutes away in Grover Beach and 25 minutes away in San Luis Obispo. I like to avoid the freeway when going to San Luis Obispo, prefering the scenic route through the Edna Valley with its vineyards and very little traffic. Check-in is normally at 4pm Monday-Saturday although I can sometimes be home sooner if needed. I prefer Sunday check-ins at 2-4pm. Checkout is by 11am.
