Charming stone and timber barn

An independent and unique place to stay, really close to the lovely town of Pau (max 10 minutes) but secluded and peaceful, with 3 hectares of garden and woodland to enjoy. In the beautiful foothills of the Pyrenees, amidst Jurancon vineyards. A cozy barn conversion, 2 bedrooms each with own bathroom, and a woodburner. Private parking, snappy wifi. Great for individuals, couples or small families. All that you need to relax - there is even a gorgeous yoga and meditation studio on site. The space This apartment is a special place, peaceful, comfortable and cozy with plenty of original charm and loving touches. It is housed in a stone barn built into the hillside. This gives a sense of height and light whilst permitting access direct from the garden. Plenty of space to relax, breathe and enjoy nature, guests find Loustalot a calm and uplifting place to stay. Newly installed fiber optic wifi means guests now have improved internet connection. Guest access You have the whole chalet and its large garden (with trampoline) to yourselves. You also have use of the table tennis room and the shared laundry room situated below. There are a further 3 hectares of land, mainly wooded, with a pretty stream where you are free to wander. The lovely yoga and meditation room in our second barn is available for guests to use with agreement. Our own farmhouse is situated opposite, with an enclosed garden which is private. Other things to note We have a labrador, a cheeky young cat (not allowed in the barn!), a Pyrenees donkey and a white horse for you to enjoy! If you would like to have a yoga class, learn a simple meditation technique or try a healing then it is all possible here... We do sometimes welcome a WELL-TRAINED animal in the barn under certain conditions so please contact us if you are considering bringing your pet (send us a reservation enquiry in the first instance, not a request).
