Ash Cottage is a superbly equipped and beautifully finished original stone cottage. A large inglenook fireplace with woodburner stove makes for cosy evenings. 4 Star comfort. Located in a friendly village with river and mountain walks from the door. We are operating Covid safe cleaning and safety procedures The space The whole cottage is available for let providing a private retreat including a small secluded walled garden. The spacious sitting room has a stone inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove. There is a flight of original stone stairs that wind up to the second floor from the sitting room. The floors are flagstone with rugs, exposed oak beams and traditional stone walls. The sitting room has a comfortable sofa and two big armchairs around the fire. There is a TV with Freeview satellite, DVD and a CD player. There are a range of games, DVDs, books and CDs for guests to use. The dining area seats six at a large table The beautiful cream kitchen is light and airy looking out onto the rear garden. There is a fridge, microwave, electric oven with hob and grill. There is a small table and chairs. There is a utility room/toilet outside the kitchen which contains a freezer, washing machine and drying space, ironing board and iron. A staircase leads from the kitchen to the pretty bedrooms and bathroom. The twin bedroom with exposed oak beams has a pair of matching twin beds with blue and white bed covers and a wardrobe. The double bedroom has oak beams and stone walls. There is beautiful antique iron bedstead and pretty bed linen. All bed linen and towels are provided. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. Electricity and oil is inclusive and there is a large complimentary basket of wood for the fire. Well behaved dogs are welcome, on the ground floor only. The cottage is No smoking. Guest access The accommodation includes private use of the garden which is well kept and walled with a small lawn and a pretty summer house. There is a cobblestone path which leads around the edge of the garden and gently ascends to the lawn area. Garden furniture is provided Other things to note There is no private parking but there is usually space in the quiet road outside the cottage
