For a winter retreat there is a fireplace in the fully wool insulated yurt, along with an external wood burning hot tub with a view of the lake which is set at a cost of $25.00 for the whole of your stay - this is paid in cash to the hosts. The cost is because it takes approximately 3 hours to get it hot and we also provide the fire wood. This is a smoke free venue Guest access The yurt is part of exquisite gardens and lakes, which are situated within a working farm. There is no access to any paddocks with cattle/horses in them. It is fully electric fenced. However you are welcome to walk or bike around the remainder of the property but please leave all gates shut or open as you find them. There are also many hazards which need to be respected in compliance with health and safety. There is very limited WiFi access. Guests also have access to a solar heated salt water swimming pool, which may be shared by other guests. This really is an off the grid experience. The yurt is off the grid so you cannot use power outlets although there is a usb point to charge your phone. There is limited cell phone availability by the yurt, but you can get coverage about 50 metres away. Wi Fi is extremely poor as this is off the grid. It is better to arrive in daylight.
