Dunfermline Heritage Quarter, near Edinburgh

Welcome to the Tailor's Loft! We are located in the Heritage Quarter of the City of Dunfermline, just steps from the historic Dunfermline Abbey & Palace ruins. We are within walking distance to all amenities: bus or train stations, high street shops, cafes, restaurants, bars & grocery stores, and an easy 35 minutes train journey to Edinburgh. The Tailor’s Loft is bright and airy, with high ceilings, large sash & case windows, and backing onto the stunning 70 acre Pittencrieff Park and Glen. The space The Tailor's Loft is a cozy 2 bedroom flat, located centrally on the 1st floor of a Victorian Era building that was renovated and modernised in 2018. It has a private entrance directly from the street and has a flight of 17 steps up to the flat once you have entered. With a double bed in the front bedroom, a king (queen) bed in the back, and a pull out couch in the living room, it is a great space to use as a base while you explore Central Scotland. The modern kitchen allows for full meals to be prepared and includes a small breakfast bar with 2 stools. There is also a small dining table in the living room that can be used as a workspace or extended to accommodate up to 4 people. Everything in the flat is available for you to use during your stay including: towels, bedding, toiletries, hair dryer, flat iron, coffee, tea, various condiments, puzzles, games, books, etc. Other things to note Everything in the city centre, including train/bus stations, groceries, restaurants & shops, are within walking distance, nothing is more than 0.5 miles / 0.8 km away. There are 3 long stay paid parking lots 100 metres or less from the flat. They are free overnight (6pm-8am) and are no more than £4.10 for a full day. There is free parking near by but the spaces are limited and can be difficult to come by depending on the time of day. Please let me know if you would like more information about these spaces.
