Out of State guests please read the Maine State COVID-19 restrictions currently in affect. Classic Maine cottage on the end of a point, surrounded by water on 3 sides provides stunning views. The perfect backdrop for the quintessential cottage vacation. Features spacious decks, direct tidal access for kayaking, and outdoor firepit. 15 min to downtown Brunswick/45 min to Portland. We even have Kayaks onsite for guests to paddle around Cards Cove. Perfect for couples and families! The main bedroom, located on the first floor features a Queen bed and direct, shared access to the bathroom. Additionally, the cottage has a loft upstairs with two twin beds. Please note, access to the loft is via a narrow stairway and low-clearance crawl space (read: duck!) There is also a pull out single bed in the main floor living space. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, electric glass top stove, microwave, coffee maker and toaster as well as all kitchenware. Bottled drinking water will be supplied for cooking and drinking. Guests have access to an outdoor fire pit located on the front-side of the cottage. A gas bbq grill is located on a fully furnished deck. We also have 3 single-person kayaks, life jackets and paddles for our guests to use. Includes Wi-Fi Internet access. There is no washer/dryer onsite however there a number of laundromats in the area. Returning Guests will receive a Friends Discount! This is a private property and we are not onsite but may make visits as necessary to greet our guests or maintain the property. The decks are filled with flowers which require regular maintenance at least 2-3 a week. A schedule of days and times we will be on site to care for the flowers will be provided to guests. We are happy to work with you to adjust this schedule as necessary. We are available to help respond to your needs via phone or text messages throughout your stay. The cottage is in a very peaceful setting with neighbors, so quiet time after 10:00 PM. The "camp road" to the cottage winds through many properties - please drive 5mph and watch out for the "locals". Please be advised - although the property is unique and very private there is a two lane road (Rt 24) to the Harpswell Islands which you can see/hear local traffic from our cottage and does make for some background noise. There is no public transportation. A car is required. Linens, towels, and fully stocked kitchen provided for our guests. There is no land line telephone for this cottage however there is adequate cellular coverage for most carriers (AT&T, Verizon etc) Please note, the rocky coastline and ledges which make this location unique and stunning also pose some inherent risks and dangers for guests. We are happy to provide more information to help you determine if this is a suitable location for your needs.
