The Vineyards

St Emilion, Pomerol a few km away. Come to our pretty farmhouse with its private garden and sun loungers, enjoy this wonderful late season and the last rays of sunshine!Moments of relaxation, wine tourism, walks to whet your appetite and enjoy the local gastronomy! Bordering Dordogne/Gironde, very well located to discover the great vineyards of the region-St Emilion, Pomerol, as well as the magnificent country of Michel de Montaigne. The space We have baby/toddler equipment on request : a folding cot, a highchair, and a potty ! Also a little activity table and chair suitable for up to 5 years old. All rooms overlook our south-west facing private garden and fenced swimming pool. There are sun-loungers and a parasol by the pool and garden furniture on our shady terrace for outdoor meals. Not forgetting a (portable) BBQ ! A well-equipped kitchen/breakfast room leads through to the living room, where the ambiance is cosy comfort, with several armchairs and a big sofa enhanced by the original ceiling beams, the exposed stone walls and a large traditional fireplace with a wood-burning stove for off- season use only. The tiled floors and the thickness of the old stone walls help to maintain a welcome coolness in the heat of those hot summer days in July and August. On the ground floor there are 2 twin bedrooms a large bathroom (WC, bathtub, bidet and double wash basins) And a second separate WC. Upstairs there is a Shower room with WC and wash basin. 1 double bedroom 2 communicating single bedrooms. Although I don’t live on site, I always meet our guests personally on arrival so there are no complicated key-holder arrangements, and I’m only a phone call away at all times, should you need to get in touch with me. There is plenty to see and do and I am happy to pass on some of our favorite addresses.. I also have a drawer full of tourist guides and information if you prefer to explore and discover by yourselves! You can be as busy or as lazy as you wish !
