The self-contained, self-catering space has its own entrance through our beautiful garden, giving you both privacy and a friendly local connection. We’re not faceless Airbnb hosts - we live upstairs in the main house and love sharing our local knowledge with our guests, from hidden-gem restaurants to must-see Bristol spots. That's why we have many repeat guests from all over the world. Inside, you’ll find: - A spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, cotton sheets, hypoallergenic bedding and a very comfortable mattress (several guests have gone away and bought the same one) - A fully equipped kitchen with excellent cooking facilities, plus a Nespresso coffee machine for your morning pick-me-up - A cosy living room with a Smart TV (Netflix, Prime and more), a selection of board games and books to enjoy during your stay - A beautiful garden which you can use and access in the warmer summer months - Thoughtful extras including tea, coffee, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and if you need more, there’s a convenience shop just one minute away - Fast fibre-optic Wifi We’ve designed the flat to be a comfortable home from home, whether you’re in Bristol for a weekend break or a work trip. Please also note: - Ceiling height: the flat has lower ceilings, which may not suit taller guests - feel free to check with us before booking - Mobile reception: signal can be patchy indoors, but the garden has good reception and Wifi calls work perfectly - Bathroom: there’s no shaver socket in the bathroom - Weekday stays: as we live and work above the flat, we kindly ask that weekday guests plan to be out during the day, so that we can keep noise to a minimum during your stay Other things to note The flat has low ceilings so may not be suitable for taller guests. Please get in touch if you are unsure. Mobile reception is a bit patchy in the flat (but fine in the garden). Calls via Whats App and FaceTime are no problem. We do not have a specific shaver socket in the bathroom. We live and work in the house above the flat so you may hear us moving about, although we are very conscious of keeping noise to a minimum while guests are staying. For this reason if you would like to stay with us during the week, we can only accept bookings from guests who will be offsite during the day, for example at an office, hospital, university etc.
