Snug and Cozy between the Skyline and the Sea
Super private, peaceful, and quiet; an excellent place for the traveler who is excited about exploring the Santa Cruz mountains and coast. Completely private In-law unit with extras needed to make it cozy. Snuggled between Scotts Valley, Felton, and Santa Cruz it's near Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, 1440 Multiversity, and Mount Hermon Conference Center yet less than an hour from Silicon Valley. The Airbnb cleaning handbook is followed making this one of the cleanest places you’ll stay at! Your cozy, airy room comes with a queen-sized bed, private bath with shower, a "kitchenette" with a table for two, small refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and French press coffee maker (instructions for the French press are included in the house manual). You'll also find supplies for your morning coffee or tea, fruit and some food items just right for a light breakfast before you start your day. Be sure to browse the pictures! They show so much about the room in a way words can't. Santa Cruz hosted rental #181333. Feel free to use the pool and patio area right outside the back door of your room. Please keep the gates closed. There's a BBQ for your use - just let me know you'd like to use it. I am usually home and would love to be of service to you! But I respect your privacy. Feel free to contact me via the Airbnb app if you need assitance or have questions. Our neighborhood feels rural, but you're only about a mile from grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, and a movie theater. Scotts Valley is home to 7 coffee houses. Our favorite, Cruise Café, is just over a mile away. They roast their coffee locally, and the bakery yummies are made onsite. You're also less than 1/4 a mile away from the hiking trails of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. If hiking is your passion, you found the right place to stay! Several former guests have left annotated maps indicating their favorite trails. Feel free to borrow them for your hiking pleasure. Since this Airbnb is on the edge of town it would be best for a guest with a car or one who is comfortable using Uber/Lyft or a cab. The area mass transit system is not the greatest and it would be difficult to use while staying at this Airbnb. There's a grocery store, coffee house, some fast food and other stores about a mile away. It's an easy walk there and back if you're inclined to explore the town by foot.
