The old village centers and the newer residential areas, close to nature and surrounded by agricultural estates, flourish in a kind of cradle bounded to the northwest by the Sarine, to the south by the Gérine and to the east by the municipalities of Pierrafortscha and Villarsel-sur-Marly. An agricultural area, around Chésalles, forms the southern limit of the Municipality. The railway and highway are not far away. Thus, Bern is half an hour away, Lausanne less than an hour, Geneva, Zurich and Basel less than two hours.
