This luxurious family retreat just 7 minutes drive from Ubud center has 4 beautiful bedrooms, an office, a large dance/yoga room, pool table, piano, swimming pool, gourmet kitchen, jungle and garden views, and plenty of space to relax alone or together. The space This designer luxury villa is just 7 minutes from Ubud center, has 4 beautiful bedrooms, a spacious office, a large dance/yoga room, several lounging areas, an elegant kitchen with curved terrazzo counter, swimming pool, relaxing meditation/massage balé overlooking the river, Yamaha digital piano (and a guitar and drum), billiards/pool table (also functions as a dining table), and open living spaces with serene jungle, garden, and river views. Downstairs is the kitchen, dining room, pool table, piano, sitting/lounge area open to the garden and pool, staff room, washing machine, and family room with television, which can also be used as a bedroom. There are also two bathrooms downstairs. Upstairs has a large yoga / dance room with a swing, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, changing room / large closet, and an office. The villa is fully staffed, with a private chef, housekeeper, gardener, and driver available to help take care of you. The staff do not live on the property, but are available when needed. The Internet is a fiber optic connection, with speeds usually around 30mbps download / 12mbps upload. There are also wall and floor outlets in nearly every part of the house for easy computer use anywhere. Guest access Guests have access to all rooms in the house, swimming pool, pool table, piano, etc. Other things to note Breakfasts are included in the rental price. If you would like our cook to prepare special meals from our menu or your own recipes for you, this can also be arranged. Please give at least one day advanced notice for meal preparation. Putu can do the grocery shopping as well. You may pay her the grocery money in advance, and she will bring you change and a receipt, adding 20% of the grocery cost for her work. Meals are "family style", where you pick 1-3 dishes and share them, rather than each person ordering a different dish. There are also several good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The neighborhood has a strict policy regarding noise after 10pm. No music, parties, gatherings, or similar activities should be held at the villa after 10pm. We have a few board games, books, and toys you're welcome to use, and a TV in the family room with HDMI inputs for watching movies. We welcome children of all ages at the villa. However, parents should be aware of the unfenced pool and fish pond, which may be accessible by young children who cannot yet swim. Because this villa has many open spaces for ventilation and to feel more close to nature, and is near the river and jungle, we welcome the creatures that live among us here. There are fish and frogs in the pond at the front. Sometimes the frogs will hop around to other areas of the house as well. Geckos (including the beautiful Tokay gecko) help eat the bugs and make their sweet calls in the evenings. Occasionally a neighborhood cat may also visit the garden. Less welcome visitors like ants, mosquitos, wasps, or termites can sometimes be seen as well. There is a mosquito zapper you can use to help with mosquitos. Remember that open living is the norm in Bali and if you're wanting an experience away from nature, this is not the villa for you. However, if any of these creatures become a nuisance, please tell our staff and they will help take care of them for you. The weather is generally cooler in our villa than the rest of Ubud and Bali because of the breeze that comes from the river, and surrounding trees. The villa also has ceiling fans in every room, so air conditioning is not typically needed. However, we do have an air conditioner in the family room / 4th bedroom though, for those who want it, as well as the pool for cooling off. Transportation: Transportation is available from our driver Wayan. Car rental: 200,000/day, or 1,200,000/week Driver: 175,000/day + petrol Airport pickup: 500,000 Airport dropoff: 350,000 Ride to Ubud center (royal palace): 70,000. Note: There is currently some construction happening next door and our rates have been reduced accordingly. The workers limit the work between 9am-5pm and most guests have said it is not disruptive to their stay.
