Welcome to the Tiny Garage House! This is a brand new space designed to make you feel comfortable and at home as soon as you walk in. There are two queen beds, a full bathroom, kitchen, and living room. We are 7 miles from the airport, just 3 miles from downtown, and less than 15 minutes from most city nightlife. The Beltline (a walking/biking pathway) is literally right in your backyard! Walk a half mile to Atlanta's newest beer district or grab a bite to eat at Boxcar. The space This tiny house was created with eco-friendly values at the forefront of our minds. Many of the construction materials were souced from our local material reuse center, including all of the wood for the ladder and loft railing. All of the faucets qualify as "water sense" products, which means you're saving water and protecting the environment when you stay here. We used the most sustainable and green building practices with everything from the paint we used, the roof color we chose, and the energy star rated appliances that fill the home. All the furniture and kitchen supplies were sourced secondhand, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in our landfills everyday. We'll always try to bring something back to life before we choose to replace it. You won't find paper plates or paper towels in this house (but we love providing cloth napkins and extra towels for whatever your needs might be). Guest access You will have access to the whole Garage House except one locked closet. This includes two bedrooms, full bathroom, living room and kitchen. The whole house is open, like a studio, so the bedrooms do not have doors but there is a privacy curtain on the first floor. You will have the whole space to yourself. Other things to note The Tiny Garage House does NOT have a washer dryer. There is a great 24 hour laundromat nearby that we recommend! There is no oven or stovetop available but there is a double burner hot plate provided (and pots and pans) for any stovetop cooking needs. Registration Details STRL-2022-00202
