Our place is a haven in a quiet, safe area, yet close to public transport, restaurants, and family-friendly activities. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. While it is very central to a variety of tourist attractions, it is also small enough to ensure enough privacy if needed. It is between two embassies and is regularly patrolled by a neighborhood watch. The guard patrolling the home of the ambassador also passes the pool room. The space The house is very central to Pretoria CBD, the Union Buildings, a few hospitals such as the Heart Hospital, Muelmed- Medforum- and the Gynaecological Mediclinics, as well as the Urolocare Hospital in Hatfield. It has easy access to all the main routes and is also within 2 hours range of Big Five tourist attractions. Bedroom 1 has a double bed and a small work area with easy accessible power points. Tea and coffee facilities, filtered water in a glass bottle and fresh fruits are available, as well as a bar fridge, microwave and smart TV. The en suite bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. Bedroom 2 has a bigger work area, two 3/4 beds and a shower plus bath. Tea and coffee facilities, filtered water, bar fridge, microwave and smart TV is included. The pool room has a double bed, en suite bathroom with shower and breakfast nook, tea and coffee facilities, filtered water, a microwave, fridge, and more. Wireless internet throughout the house. Although it is near the CBD, it is safe and quiet to ensure a good night's rest. Two shopping centers with a few restaurants, Virgin Active gym, Dischem, Checkers and Woolworths are within walking distance. There is a food delivery system available if you do not want to leave the house. Guest access Travelers will have access to two rooms with en suite bathrooms on the ground level of the house, as well as the TV room/lounge and undercover braai area. The pool room is outside of the house and has facilities for self-service. Guests may use the pool (pool towels available) and the garden, which is a delight early in the morning. The roof deck on the garage is available at sunset with a glass of wine. Satellite TV in the lounge and either DSTV, or smart Tv's in the rooms. Each room has a fridge with enough to get by, a hospitality tray with coffee, tea and rusks and a bowl of fresh fruit. The undercover braai area is available for personal use. During your stay My husband and I are retired and normally available on the premises for advice and assistance if needed. Other things to note There are small/medium dogs on the premises. They are good-natured, but if you dislike dogs, our place may not be suitable for you.
