Spend an unforgettable holiday at our "Heritage Boutique Apartment Ella" in the center of the imperial city Bad Ischl. Enjoy the historical atmosphere, but also a modern kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable bed. The historical house was lovingly renovated in 2020, each apartment is individually decorated. We prefer sustainable products and cooperate with local businesses. The house is located in the center of town, you can thus enjoy your vacation by public transport or bike – all year round! amenities: - pantry kitchens with fridge, dishwasher, and microwave with baking function - new bathroom with walk-in shower - historic beds with modern frames and hotel mattress - bike garage with Ebike charging station We cooperate with a lovely local breakfast service where you can order the day before via QR code and it will be delivered to your room door by 8 a.m. (for 2 people approx. 20 euros). There are also several very good breakfast options within a 2-5 minute walk. We are a certified Green Hotel and cooperate with local businesses for a positive environmental impact. This apartment is on the 2nd floor (no elevator). You have the apartment all to yourself. In addition, you can relax in the common room (the salon), enjoy the common area balcony on the 1st floor and the garden. All guests also have access to our bike garage. We will endeavor to welcome you personally, but also have a key safe just in case. Thus, please make sure to tell us when you will arrive so that we can welcome you. You'll receive all information via message before your stay, but we're there for any additional questions. We are a small family business consisting of me, Monika, and my two children Martha and Kamal. I am a former teacher, Kamal works at Katrin (a local attraction) and Martha supports us from Vienna. Together, we aim to ensure that you have a wonderful stay! Bad Ischl is known for the summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph and Sisi – but there’s so much more! This Salzkammergut jewel, European Cultural Capital in 2024, offers a variety of activities for all ages and tastes – be it cultural, nature, or adventure. The imperial villa and the city center can be explored on foot, further local attractions can easily be reached by public transport, bike or car. The apartment is located in Bad Ischl’s center, you can also get around by public transport or bike: - Travel to Hallstatt by train and boat in only 35 min (a lovely view of the lake town as you float towards it and no parking chaos!) - The bus stop Salzburgerstasse is right in front of the apartment - The Bad Ischl train station is within 850 m (11 min by foot) - A public parking lot is within 3 min walking distance (EUR 8 /day), free parking at Bauerpark within 5 min The stop for bus 150 is right in front of our villa (2 stops from Bad Ischl train station, to Bad Ischl Seifensiedergasse/Salzburgerstrasse). Alternatively, the train station is just a lovely 10 minutes walk across town. We recommend using Google Maps as it has all public transport info included for our area. The public parking lot is only 3-5 min by foot (the one at Bauerpark is free). An extra folding bed can be provided on request. Based on availability, we can supply a travel cot or bed safety rails for your child - please let us know in advance.
