Welcome to The Alamo Lodge, a 37 Gatewood property! We are backed up against 6,000 private acres that drop into The New River Gorge National Park. The best mountain bike and hiking trails in the area are nearby. Kayaking or fishing are within minutes as we are at the top of the hill from the Cunard River access. Bridge Haven golf course is 3 minutes away. Rafting companies are a short drive and popular restaurants are only 5 miles. Convenient to Fayetteville and Oakhill. *Cleaning fee included The space The Alamo Lodge is great for groups! The lodge features 2 showers in each bathroom. That's 4 showers total so your group can get out the door quickly and enjoy the adventures this area has to offer. This is an open concept lodge with a small bedroom with a queen bed that is private and has a desk for those who need to do work virtually. There is a small open loft area with 2 twin beds. There are 2 full size futons in the large open living room area. Another, larger bedroom, has an area with a queen bed and 2 futons for sleeping. And, we have added a 6 person hot tub to our amenities. Guest access You will have access to the entire Alamo Lodge. There's a courtyard with a large fire pit and seating area for you to enjoy. Aside from the entrance, the courtyard is fenced. There are chairs on the front "porch" of the lodge as well as a picnic table in the yard in front. You're on the same property as Equestrian Adventures. Fenced pasture areas are for employees and those riding with Equestrian Adventures only. Other things to note Cleaning fee is included in the nightly rate. We do have pots and pans. Please note there is another 37 Gatewood Airbnb rental behind the lodge and as mentioned before, there is a horse back riding stable on the property. The lodge has its own fire pit. Firewood is supplied for one nights fire, more can be purchased from us, just let us know and we'll make sure it's delivered to you and make arrangements for payment. Also, the owners have pets that are on the property at times including cats and dogs.
