Cottage for six people, private pool.

The gite occupies the entire top floor of a large house on the outskirts of the medieval village of Chalabre. The owners live on the ground floor. There are no other clients and you have exclusive use of the pool. There are many local attractions, the mountains are very close and the Mediterranean is one and a half hours drive away. The centre of Chalabre has convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, doctors, pharmacy, butchers, baker, etc. The space The apartment forming the top floor of the villa is spacious and airy, with tiled floors in the living area and real oak floors in the bedrooms. Plenty of windows let in lots of light, and two balconies face south and west. Great for families, walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Our land extends through woodland to the River Hers. Guest access As well as the gite, there is almost half an acre of garden, with areas where children can play safely or adults can curl up with a book. The pool has shallow steps where children under supervision can play in the water. Walking to the bottom of our land brings you to the river, which offers fishing (please let us know if you wish to fish so that we can arrange a licence). Parking is available off the road to the side of the house. Other things to note We have few rules - the pool measures 10m x 5m and is a uniform depth of 1.5 metres, therefore for safety reasons diving is not permitted. As usual, glass is not allowed in the pool area.
