Relais sul Siroto
Description
The Relais sul Siroto is nestled in the heart of nature, situated along the ancient path leading to the historic center of Castelnuovo Cilento, just 1.5 km away. This serene location is enveloped by majestic centuries-old oak trees, elms, brooms, and a variety of wild orchids. The area is teeming with wildlife, offering sightings of badgers, wild boars, foxes, and river crabs, thriving in the rich waters of the Siroto stream that borders the property. Here, nature's beauty and tranquility create a perfect retreat. The space This architectural masterpiece, designed by the owner's young architect wife, seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings. The structure features local stone elements with slightly raised stones, giving the walls a sculptural appearance. Stained glass panels enclose the interior, redefining traditional window concepts and offering unobstructed views of the surrounding nature. From its inception, this project was envisioned as a harmonious blend of architecture and nature. The continuity between the interior and exterior is emphasized through the consistent use of materials, while the old oak trees play a crucial role in the design, providing thermal regulation by shading the building in summer and allowing sunlight to penetrate during winter. The Relais offers dual access: one side opens to terraces with views of Monte Stella, while the other leads to a spacious internal garden bordered by a long porch, perfect for enjoying breakfast. Guests can immerse themselves in the serene sounds of nature, including the gentle rustling of water and the harmonious chirping of birds, cicadas, and crickets, promising a truly relaxing holiday experience.
