Sanctuary I at a Church -The Whole

The Old Church of Urquhart is a comfortable conversion on top of its own hillock inmidst Malt Whisky Country, close to the sea at the Moray Firth & the Grampian Highlands. --> This entry is for most of ground floor of the church up to 10/11 guests ...see the other entries here for parts of ground floor which could be separated as individual units.. The space This is the perfect place to enjoy the 'Best of Bonnie Scotland' in maximum peacefulness & privacy! Our private home -where we live at first floor- usually run as a B&B with 3 suites (see entries of my partner Kris); this is the entry for most of ground floor of the church, all for you. This is self catering with two well equipped kitchenettes; both equipped with a small fridge, a combi microwave oven, double induction hob, toaster/kettle whilst the large one in the front lounge has even a drawer dishwasher. For a supplement of just £ 6 pP/pN breakfast items will await you eg. as well just for the first morning for a relaxed arrival. This will be a Continental Breakfast including tea/coffee, juice, fruits, cereals (muesli & co), yoghurt, croissants or such, jam/marmalade, margarine, milk and sugar. NETFLIX & Co. are for you to enjoy at the TV in your bedroom! Sanctuary I offers accommodation for up to 10/11 guests depending on how rooms are occupied, also you could book this for any number of guests starting at 3 and will enjoy plenty space inside the church and around 2 acres of garden grounds. There is a very spacious lounge at the front and a further snug in front of the back bedroom (if not used as bedroom as well)... The sleeping arrangements describes as follows; small & cozy Suite en suite (Jack-and-Jill style) with single/double daybed ... Suite consisting of two rooms (one captured) with en suite -large walk-in shower- for the main room as well as a double bed and a comfy single/double daybed ... spacious Suite en suite with double and single bed ... and in the lounge a double daybed. Distinctly Different is not only the building and its position...enjoy 2 acres of garden grounds and relax in this peaceful place! Guest access Guests are on their own at Sanctuary I with a large private lounge and a snug if not used as a bedroom as well as lawns on different levels, the Church Pond, a wee forest and plenty seating areas incl. BBQ outside to enjoy. There is a well equipped kitchenette with even a drawer dishwasher in the front lounge as well as a small but still well-equipped kitchenette in the snug if not used as a bedroom. A dining set fitting the number in your party will be prepared for you in the front lounge; further dining might be set up in the snug, if required. Other things to note Please let us know with whom you are planning to stay like amount of adults, kids, dogs etc. (up to 3 well-behaved dogs are welcome by arrangement for an additional one-off charge of £ 20 per dog). --> SINGLES, COUPLES & FAMILIES find our different B&B suites with actual availability and price at individual entries here at AirBnB or you go for just part of the church with Sanctuary II and III... --> if you require a further room, a further bathroom, or even a fully equipped kitchen, just ask for availability and for a quote... ...due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize between reservations... --> we follow an enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: * We sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the door handles. * We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination. * We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists. * We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay. * We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines. * We use UVC & Ozone for sterilization on top of all guidance to further commit to your and our safety.
