Sherwood Lake Suite

We are 4 mi. south of I-70 by Sherwood Lake. Quiet neighborhood. Use GPS to locate the house. Queen-sized bed with memory foam topper. Wet bar - sink, microwave, coffee maker & toaster oven. Full size fridge & a desk for computer use. The bathroom has a shower (no tub). DirectTV in the living room & TV w/Amazon Firestick in the bedroom. The suite is accessed thru our garage. ***NOTE: The interior stairwell is open to the upper main floor where we live.*** Please - no pets due to allergies. The space This area is in the lower level of our home which keeps it nice and cool in the summer time. There is a space heater available for the winter if needed and a fan for the summer. A pac n' play, a twin and a full-sized air mattress are available to use in the living room area if you bring kids or prefer not to share the bed with your traveling companion. Let me know. ***NOTE: Please be aware the house is designed with an open stairwell. We will do our best to be quiet for you.*** Guest access The suite is the entire lower level of our home, with about 800 s.f. available. It includes the bedroom, family room and bathroom (shower stall - no tub). There is a wet bar with a sink, coffee maker, toaster oven and microwave, as well as a full-sized refrigerator which is tucked behind the stairs. There is a desk and chair for a laptop computer and a table with chairs you can use for any meals you prepare at home. If you need to access the laundry room, it is upstairs. Just let me know and I'll show you the ropes! During your stay We will spend a few minutes to show you the space if you arrive while we are available, otherwise use the floor plan on the door. Typically our access from the garage to the main floor is through the suite, but we will use the outside stairs to enter the house, weather permitting, when we have guests. Other things to note You are welcome to use the kitchen upstairs if you need to prepare a meal. The washer and dryer are available if needed. I make banana, apple (or pumpkin, seasonally) bread for your breakfast. Let me know if you are vegan or have any gluten or milk allergies, as my recipe contains both. I will adapt the recipe for your needs.
