"Il Leccino": Delightful 1-bdr apt. in farmhouse.

Very panoramic 1-bedroom apt. Wooden beams, original features, fully-furnished kitchen, a.c., wifi. Sofa bed in living room, can sleep up to 3 guests. Infinity pool, terraces, barbecue. Surrounded by nature, in an organic olive-oil producing estate. This Farmhouse, divided into 5 apartments, has a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the valley. The pool usually opens around the 1st of June (this year it will open on the 27th of May). The space Umbria - central Italy, near border with Tuscany, close to Lake Trasimeno, beautiful hamlets and historic towns such as Perugia, Assisi, Città della Pieve, Pienza and Cortona. Delightful, fully equipped (including internet connection), elegantly furnished and totally air conditioned apartment in a 17th-century recently-restored stone farmhouse in the hills, on a large agricultural estate (organic olive oil production). This apartment is called "Il Leccino", and is composed of a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower (and a few handles, as this apt. is also equipped for the disabled), a living room with single sofa bed and wood-burning stove, and a fully-equipped wooden kitchenette decorated with hand-painted tiles. The apartment looks out onto a very characteristic terracotta courtyard on one side, and on the other it offers great views of the valley below and the surrounding hills. There are terracotta panoramic terraces (one with large stone barbecue), equipped for eating outside, a fantastic infinity pool with sunbeds, outside shower, tables and umbrellas, a spacious common room with many books and tourist info, a free wireless internet connection and games and books for children. In our property there are several trails for nature walks, jogging and trekking. We offer a fun Italian cooking lesson with dinner in our common room, held by a young local chef. The closest town (Tavernelle di Panicale) is 10 minutes away by car. Here you will find pizzerias, bakeries, supermarkets, shops, etc. There are delicious restaurants in the area serving typical Umbrian meals. The beaches and islands of Lake Trasimeno are 20 minutes away by car. In Tavernelle you will also find a tennis court and a great water park. Guest access Guests have access to the pool with its surrounding terrace with outside shower, sunbeds and umbrellas. POOLS ARE USUALLY OPEN from around the 1st of June to around the 30th of September, according to weather conditions and number of bookings. There is also another terrace with a large stone barbecue (wood provided). There are trails in the property for walking, trekking, mountain biking, There are books and an extra lounge for everyone to use in the large common room. This Farmhouse is at the top of a hill, there is a steep access road, that we have mostly paved, but the last part is not paved (this is a country dirt road). Please be prepared to drive uphill (slowly and in first or second gear) for about 500 metres, in order to reach the farmhouse. The free parking area is after the farmhouse, so continue driving uphill and to the left you will enter the parking area. Other things to note The pool usually opens around 15 May/1 June and closes around 15/30 September. In high season (15June-30 August) we usually rent only weekly, from Saturday to Saturday. Pets are accepted in medium and in low season (not in high season). Contact us about this (and we usually ask for a euro 25 supplement for final extra cleaning). There will be a euro 30 weekly supplement for the air conditioning (only if you use it) and a euro 10 per day for the heating, that may be necessary according to the period of the year.
