Marcofrate, a Retreat in the Nature

Our house is a small fortress dating back to the 1400s, surrounded by greenery behind Mount Subasio and Assisi. 5 bedrooms, including 2 quadruple rooms, with a kitchen and living room. It has been carefully renovated. The property is surrounded by greenery. Also suitable for small groups, to meet with friends or family as if you were at home. The price is for 8 people, extra beds are quoted on request. Catering on request. ***Additional costs are foreseen for the possible use of heating*** The space The building that houses our house and the Agriturismo is rich in history, built on the remains of Romanesque buildings, it was a small medieval fort and housed a convent to which we owe the name Marcofrate. It is entirely made of stone, with deep walls, which take you back in time. We have 5 rooms, 2 of which can also be used for 4 or 5 people. We also have a nice common room for meals and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, oven and induction hob. There is also a nice terrace where you can eat in good weather. Ask us for information! On our property there is also a small church, which completed the village in ancient times. The property is surrounded by hills, paths and streams, on the old road that leads to Spello and Assisi, on the lesser-known side of Mount Subasio, areas rich in history but little explored. Surrounded by peace and quiet, our property and farm, of about 21 hectares, will soon be integrated with outdoor areas, such as the garden and swimming pool, which are currently in the design phase. Guest access We have a large gravel parking lot, accessible by a ramp. You can pull up at the entrance to unload your luggage. You can visit the surroundings both on foot and by car and you can rent electric bicycles. Other things to note We are sure that your trip will be dedicated to exploring our beautiful Umbrian hills, to recharge and enjoy nature, healthy air and good food, but we remind you that in our area the mobile signal is poor and WIFI is present in the common areas, for a completely digital-detox stay. Additional costs are incurred for the use of heating. If you wish, we can arrange breakfast, lunch and dinner for you. Pets are allowed upon request and additional costs may be incurred for extra cleaning. The entire house is rented for a minimum of 3 days. If you have other needs, let us know.
