Likotropia Cottage House

Our cottage house is located in Paliochora Avia (10 km from Kalamata), only 300 m from the beautiful beaches of the area. It's ideal for relaxing in the summer and winter, as it is in nature and surrounded by olive trees. In its beautiful courtyards you will enjoy the view of the Messinian bay and mount Taygetos. Τhe other houses of the settlement, are a short distance away, which makes it an excellent choice for a peaceful holiday. Finally, it has private parking. The space We would like to inform you that due to Covid-19, after each booking we are disinfecting the items that are usually most used by guests. We clean the spaces of the house with great care while always wearing gloves and a mask. The house is eco friendly as, alongside the electricity grid, a photovoltaic system has been installed for power generation from the sun. This is a house with a rustic style that blends harmoniously with the area. Surrounded by beautiful stone-built courtyards with flowers and trees where you can enjoy your coffee or food while gazing at Taygetos and the sea. On the large marble table of the back porch you can eat together enjoying the view, the nature and the quiet listening to the birdsong and the sound of the cicadas. In the mornings, in the "pythara" (our mother's makeshift coffee table) you will have your breakfast and coffee. In the afternoon relax in the crib while reading a book. A walk in the courtyards of the house will rest you gazing at the surrounding olives, without being disturbed by the hustle and bustle of neighbors (the house is just a short distance from the rest of the houses of the settlement). You'll really feel like it's you and nature. Inside the house there are three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The living room is decorated with carved wooden furniture and the grandmother's chest that lends traditional style to the house. It has a large balcony door with a screen that communicates with the back large veranda. Also in the living room there is a TV and an energy fireplace (but the use of which is not allowed). Other things to note In the house there are two double beds and one semi-double, which can comfortably accommodate five people. However, there is the possibility to accommodate a sixth person on a ranch. For this reason, we kindly ask you to inform us in order to have it installed.
