Likotropia Cottage House

Our cottage house is located in Paliochora Avia (10 km from Kalamata), only 300 m from the beautiful beaches of the area. It's ideal for relaxing in the summer and winter, as it is in nature and surrounded by olive trees. In its beautiful courtyards you will enjoy the view of the Messinian bay and mount Taygetos. Τhe other houses of the settlement, are a short distance away, which makes it an excellent choice for a peaceful holiday. Finally, it has private parking. The space We would like to inform you that due to Covid-19, after each reservation we disinfect the items that are usually used the most by guests. We carefully clean the areas of the house, always wearing gloves and a mask. The house is eco-friendly as, in addition to the electricity network, a photovoltaic system has been installed to generate electricity from the sun. It is a rustic-style house that blends in harmoniously with the area. It is surrounded by beautiful stone-built courtyards with flowers and trees where you can enjoy your coffee or food while gazing at Taygetos and the sea. At the large marble table on the back terrace you can all eat together enjoying the view, nature and tranquility listening to the birds singing and the sound of cicadas. In the mornings, in the "pythara" (our mother's makeshift table) you will get your breakfast and coffee. In the afternoon, relax in the hammock while reading a book. A walk in the courtyards of the house will relax you while browsing the surrounding olive groves, without being disturbed by the noise of neighbors (the house is located a very short distance from the rest of the houses of the settlement). You will truly feel that it is you and nature. Inside the house there are three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The living room is decorated with carved wooden furniture and grandmother's trunk that give a traditional style to the house. It has a large balcony door with a curtain that communicates with the large back terrace. Also, in the living room there is a TV and an energy fireplace (but its use is not allowed). Other things to note In the house there are two double beds and a semi-double, which can comfortably serve five people. However, there is the possibility of accommodating a sixth person on a bunk bed. For this reason, please let us know in this case so that we can set it up.
