Welcome! The Guest Studio has an elegant meets rustic vibe. The space is peaceful and has french doors, marble details, high ceilings, wood floors, beautiful fixtures and is conveniently and centrally located in an up and coming neighborhood in the Mid-Wilshire/Mid-City area close to all things LA. Inside, there is a couch, a table for eating or working with two chairs, a kitchenette, a queen-size bed, a tv, and your own private bathroom. Right outside the studio, there is a bistro set. The space This guest studio is a 360 square foot room with bathroom. The property has a healthy hedge around the perimeter and also has citrus trees, a fig tree, guava trees, and a pomegranate tree. Your entrance onto the property is separate. The backyard is a shared space with a vegetable and herb garden and seating areas except for your own private space by the privacy wall. In the sleeping area are a queen-sized bed, floating nightstands, linens, pillows, euro pillows, 42-inch television with basic cable. If you are a lover of music, there is a Jambox by Jawbone speaker to hook up to your phone. There is a quiet split type air conditioner and heating with remote control and timer. During summer months, the temperature will be warm, especially during late afternoons. The kitchenette is equipped with a sink, carrara marble countertops, reclaimed wood shelving, compact fridge, convection oven, blender, single electric burner, a kettle, berkey water filter, utensils, wine opener, bottle opener, can opener, cutting boards, cheese board, pepper grinder, a salt shaker, salad serving set, cheese grate, peeler, glass food storage, measuring cup, mixing bowls, glassware, wines glasses, a fancy wine diffuser and set of Fiestaware dishes. Dish soap, a sponge, paper towels, cloth towels, trash bags, eco cleaning products, and water will also be provided. Your bathroom is private with a marble-tiled shower, three showerheads, a farmer style oak vanity, a vintage mirror, light fixtures from the '20s, a full-length mirror, a place to hang clothes, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, and a hairdryer. A compact ironing board and iron will be in the studio. We have a Yorkshire Terrier, a Husky, two indoor-outdoor cats, and one indoor cat. They are all friendly. Please keep the gate closed at all times. There is WiFi. Guest access Guests will have access to a shared backyard and a private outdoor space alongside the studio. Other things to note The central location will allow for many doings. Travel times are always dependent on traffic and can advise which time of day is best. The location is about 20 minutes from Downtown LA, Silverlake, Echo Park, USC and the Griffith Observatory. It can take up to 25 minutes or less to get to Venice beach, UCLA, The Hammer or the Getty Museum and 15 minutes or less to get to LACMA, the Grove, Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
