The room is spacious with a large private balcony with a panoramic view of the hills, city and beach with blackout curtains. There is fast internet and a designated working space. The bed is top quality which gives you a very comfortable sleep and the night is silent. The bathroom is shared with one more room upstairs. Occasionally, we have guests on the weekend in the garden downstairs which could get a bit noisy and ofcourse you are welcome to join. The space I have one room to rent in a traditional stone house on the side of the hills of Germasoyia Village. The room has its own private balcony with sea view mountain view. The house is a 3 minute drive from the beach and tourist area, and a 5 min bus drive. There are beautiful traditional restaurants in the Village, but also international cuisine restaurants in the tourist area. My guesthouse is a traditional stone house which offers the authentic way of living in Cyprus to the visitors that don't want to pay money to visit commercial tourist spots and low quality, rip off services and products. While you are here, I can advice you on the best quality options there are, which also gives you the chance to experience the real Cyprus based on your preferences including where to eat, local food, events and outdoor sporting adventures. Please have in mind that our guesthouse is a welcoming shared house and occasionally hosts social and community events on special occations, which are usually communicated with you prior to your booking. Therefore on some weekends it might be 'noisy' and ofocurse you are welcome to join. This is not a conventional house so it is all part of the experience of spending your holidays in Cyprus. Guest access Guests are able to access all common areas including the kitchen, living room, dining room and garden. During your stay I am available at any time for any questions about their accommodation, and also provide them with information about traveling in Cyprus. I also sometimes give them the option to join me in outdoor activities such as day trips or hitting the town's nightlife. Other things to note For Winter months: Since the house does not have central heating I provide heating for each room separately. I warm up the common areas with the fireplace and other heating appliances which you are also welcome to use. Therefore, if you want me to provide heating for your room I charge 3 euros per room per night on arrival. For Summer months: If you want to use the air condition in your bedroom I charge 5 euros per night which is paid on arrival. Because the house is made of stone and wood and because it is on a higher altitude than the center of Limassol on the side of the hill the air condition is only needed in July/August and early September. The rest of the year is cool and I provide fans for free.
