Limerick Cottage is a perfect hideaway to relax after busy days exploring and sightseeing in the beautiful Blue Mountains. The space Our home is a split-level timber cottage overlooking a pocket of natural bushland with creeks and abundant native wildlife. Relax on one of three private decks and watch Kookaburras, rosellas, king parrots and lorikeets gathering in the gully every afternoon. Or try to spot the local wallabies and kangaroos grazing in the gully! Comfortably furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, with leafy views from every window. Guest access Guest are welcome to access and enjoy the entire house and gardens. Please be aware this is a split-level home with stairs in between the bedrooms and kitchen/living room areas. It may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. Other things to note Please be aware there is no air-conditioning or central cooling at the house. The Blue Mountains do occasionally get some very hot days in the spring and summer over 30°C so please keep this in mind if you are not used to the heat, as we want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. There are ceiling fans and/or portable fans for the bedrooms and the cottage does catch lovely breezes with the windows open to cool down in the evening. One box of complimentary firewood, fire-starters and matches are provided during the winter months only. Additional bags of firewood and kindling are available from the Blackheath IGA, Mitre 10 or any of the service stations along the highway.
