Beulah rental registration # 22017 The Beulah public beach (Crystal Lake) is a 2 minute drive (10 minute walk) and The Frankfort and Elberta beaches (Lake Michigan) are a 10 minute drive. There are several beaches located in the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore and you can purchase passes at Welcome center in Empire, The Dune Climb, or The Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive. Restaurants around include: Downtown Beulah - The Cold Creek Inn - Nice mid-range restaurant with sports bar on one side and cozy dinning room with fireplace on other Ursa Major - Breakfast & Lunch deli style. The Hungry Tummy - Bar / restaurant you'll meet lots of locals here. The Cherry Hut - All about Cherries. Touristy, but worth it. L'Chayim Delicatessen - Bakery / Deli . Really good sandwiches. Lucky Dog Bar & Grille & Cool Cat Ice Cream Bowl - Side by side on main street. Patio dining for Lucky Dog. A. Papano's Pizza - Good pizza, good price, nothing fancy. Benzonia - Roadhouse Mexican Bar & Grill - Good Mexican / American food. Frankfort - Stormcloud Brewing company - Belgian inspired Brewery small but good menu with good selection of beers. CoHo - Small but really good fine dining. Dinghy’s - In house smoked ribs, chicken, etc. The Fusion - Asian / Sushi, Vegan options. A&W Drive In - Its always a hit with kids. and a bit of nostalgia for some of us. Food is what you expect. Cabbage Shed and Waterfront Pub - Its technically in Alberta (across Betsie Lake from Frankfort). Northern Michigan Pub food on the water. Liked by both tourists and locals.
