Relax in our cozy studio 8 minutes from downtown TC or a 5 minute walk to the beach. Attached to a home, this unit has private entrance, full bath, kitchenette, bedroom with projector, access to back patio, and 1 private parking spot. A great place to slow down in a quiet tree-filled neighborhood near it all. Two minute walk to the local TART trail which connects to so much of TC and beyond. The space This studio space connected to our home is perfect for 2-3 people for a weekend. ENTRANCE: You park directly next to the studio space with one small step up from driveway to back deck. There is a lockbox with key next to your sliding door entrance. The backyard is a shared area with the main house but you will mostly encounter the squirrels and wild flowers back there. LOUNGE/KITCHEN: You enter into the lounge/kitchenette area with cozy futon, large glass sliding doors for plenty of light during the day and curtains at night or for a midday snooze. Small fridge with freezer. Berkey water filter, microwave, pour-over or coffee pot with local coffee and all basic dishes provided. BEDROOM: Queen size bed and a projector. VHS tapes line the inside shelves above the bed and provide a mini-theater experience of your favorite old flicks. Or, stream your favorites. Sound maker and alarm clock also provided. There is a Dyson cooling fan near the bed to help keep cool on especially hot days and well as an overhead fan. BATHROOM: Small bathroom with deep tub for soaking or shower. Toilet and (tiny) sink. There is a cabinet for storing your things and one shelf near the tub/shower. Hooks near shower and on back of door for towels. GENERAL: The ceiling is vaulted in room with a ceiling fan and tree canopy outside. Room stays cool even in summer but there is a secondary cooling unit provided. The fireplace keeps the space cozy on cool nights. This space is connected to a home where two people live full time. You're unlikely to see anyone unless in the driveway or backyard.
