Dandaloo Luxury Escape short drive to Yarra Valley

Dandaloo Luxury Escape is a self-contained 2 bedroom house set in the grounds of Dandaloo homestead, circa 1890s. It has been tastefully renovated and built to take in the ambiance of surrounding gardens and natural bush. Each morning of your stay you can begin the day by enjoying a leisurely breakfast on one of the 3 decks, using the quality provisions left for you in the fridge. Later you can relax in the outdoor bath on the back deck and maybe see kangaroos or king parrots. The space The Space Dandaloo is your very own haven to escape and relax. Upon arrival you will find a continental breakfast supplied for you (enough for the first few days of your stay) and chilled water on tap. There are basic pantry items supplied such as oil, pepper and salt, balsamic vinegar, white vinegar and a small range of herbs and spices. Features include a fully equipped kitchen with Smeg appliances and a magnificent solid black butt timber bench and stone bench tops. The main bedroom has its own ensuite and balcony, while the second bedroom has direct access to a second balcony via French doors with the main bathroom directly across the hall. Relax in the living room with a good book or tune in to Netflix on your HD TV and free Wi-Fi. In the colder months you may want to curl up in front of the cosy wood burning stove (pre-cut wood) or in warmer weather pull back the bi-fold doors that feed out onto the huge deck and cook up a storm on the BBQ and enjoy an outdoor meal. Or open up the stacker sliding doors on the opposite side of the room that open out to a private balcony and enjoy a quiet glass of wine and watch a magnificent sunset in the distance. If you’re feeling energetic you could play a couple of sets of tennis on the court situated adjacent to Dandaloo homestead about 50 meters from the cottage, then cool off and relax in the 10 meter swimming pool right next to the tennis court. You can then relax on the couches under the sun umbrella beside the pool. Please note the pool is a shared space and is not situated to provide privacy at all. Keep an eye out for the kangaroos, maybe spot an echidna and the king parrots that live on the property or listen for the kookaburras and cockatoos. You only need to venture a short distance and you are on the doorstep of several wonderful local boutique cellar door wineries, superb casual or formal restaurants, walking trails, and St. Andrews Market. The famous Panton Hill Hotel is within walking distance. Dandaloo is conveniently situated if attending a wedding at one of the many fantastic wedding venues throughout the Artisan Hills or the stunning Yarra Valley.
