Garden annex within easy reach of Hadrian's Wall

Stay in a comfortable and contemporary garden annexe with a private shower room and WC. The windows look out onto an attractive garden that guests are welcome to enjoy, including an outdoor pergola with seating. Guests have full access to a shared kitchen for preparation of meals and laundry facilities. We are located between two World Heritage sites (Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District National Park) and 6 miles from historic Carlisle. The M6 motorway is just 3 miles away. The space The annex is a modern extension onto our Victorian house, set in a quiet Cumbrian village to the east of Carlisle. There are gardens on 3 sides of the house and a private off-road parking area. Guest access It is very easy to get to Great Corby by train or car. The M6 motorway is just 3 miles away at Junction 43. There is off-road parking at the house, but you will need directions to find the driveway to the house. If travelling by rail, a local train from Carlisle will bring you to Wetheral Station in about 7 minutes. Alternatively, you can get here by train from Newcastle (or from any station on the Tyne Valley Line). From Wetheral station, our house is a mere 10 minute walk away over a viaduct with spectacular views. During your stay We are generally available to offer a friendly welcome and help you with any requirements you may have, including use of our kitchen facilities if you wish to prepare a meal using our oven, microwave or air fryer. As a Blue Badge Tour Guide for Cumbria, I am more than happy to share my knowledge of Hadrian's Wall and the Lake District with you. However, we will be guided by you as to how much interaction you prefer.
