The house has a great mountain chalet feel to it due to all the timber interior cladding (it's a Lockwood home). It is cosy with a simple layout but will have all you need as a base for a great Wanaka holiday. It is 10-15 minutes walk to the lake. The space There is a great view of Lake Wanaka and mountains from the front deck. The back patio has an outdoor table and chairs to enjoy a meal out the back or a glass of wine. The prominent hill viewed from back garden is Mt Iron and well worth the 1hr 30min walk - one of the most popular walks in Wanaka. Guest access All accessible.
