The Shaw Guest Suite is a serene sanctuary across the street from magnificent Tower Grove Park. This beautifully furnished one-bedroom apartment can sleep up to four. Weekly housekeeping is included. The space The apartment is in St. Louis' historic Shaw Neighborhood, one-and-a-half blocks east of the world-renowned Missouri Botanical Garden. The Shaw Guest Suite is on the first floor, and accessible only by a half flight of stairs. Before your arrival, the Shaw Guest Suite will be stocked with welcome teas and treats, freshly roasted coffee, and light breakfast foods to start your stay. You'll also find a range of cleaning supplies that you're welcome to use and complimentary toiletries (soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-Tips, etc.). To keep our rates low, we don't replenish these items during your stay. The "Shaw" sleeps up to four, with a top-quality Queen bed in the bedroom and an American Leather sleeper sofa — one of the finest sleeper sofas made in America, and a guest favorite. We add a mattress topper to make it genuinely comfortable for sleeping, not just an afterthought. Base rates are for one or two guests sharing the Queen bed. If your party would like to use the sleeper sofa as a second bed, add $100/month to your reservation. We will dress and prepare it before your arrival. The apartment has dedicated and fast high-speed internet with WIFI. The smart TV has an antenna for local stations. You are welcome to log into any streaming services to which you subscribe through a Roku Box. Upon making a reservation, you will be notified of SF Shannon's House Rules. Creation of a reservation indicates acceptance of SF Shannon's policies. Parking is free and on-street in front of the Shaw Guest Suite. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment or anywhere on the premises. Premier STL Location The Shaw Guest Suite is less than 10 minutes by car--or an easy and delightful bike ride--to St. Louis' most beloved attractions: The Gateway Arch, Busch Stadium, City Museum, the St. Louis Zoo, Forest Park, the Fabulous Fox Theatre and Powell Symphony Hall. The Shaw Guest Suite is across the street from magnificent Tower Grove Park, a Victorian gem with more than 8,000 trees and shrubs, historic gates, gazebos and pavilions, a playground and wading pool, and a farmers' market that bustles with activity every Saturday during growing season. Within walking distance are dozens of outstanding restaurants. Since all of SF Shannon’s vacation rental apartments are in the historic core of St. Louis, we occasionally receive the question: “Is it safe?” This question is impossible to answer, because we typically know nothing about the person asking it. Co-owner Rachel lives within walking distance of the Shaw Guest Suite. She and her husband raised their daughters in the neighborhood, and have always felt perfectly safe. WHY THAT NAME? This apartment is named for Henry Shaw, founder of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Guest access The apartment is all yours! There is a shared laundry room in the basement at the end of the building, and the interior stairs and fire escape are shared with other guests and residents.
