Recently renovated for comfort while preserving its original character, Nora's Getaway is a place to explore Northern Portugal from - and a place you may find surprisingly hard to leave. The space Nora's Getaway is a recently renovated traditional Portuguese stone house set on a private riverside property overlooking the Tâmega. The house sleeps up to 8 guests across 4 bedrooms and combines original character with bright, comfortable living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen and an upstairs suite with a bathtub overlooking the river. Outside is where the property really comes alive: a private infinity pool, mature gardens, hammocks, outdoor dining and BBQ areas, and direct access to the river, with SUPs and kayak available for guests. There is plenty of space to spend time together - and plenty of quiet corners when you want one to yourself. Guest access The entire house and property are exclusively yours during your stay. You'll have private access to the house, infinity pool, gardens and outdoor areas, as well as direct access to the Tâmega River. The SUPs and kayak are also available for you to enjoy during your stay. Nothing is shared with other guests. Other things to note A car is recommended to make the most of the area and explore Northern Portugal. The property extends down towards the river, so some outdoor areas are naturally sloped. Children should always be supervised, particularly around the pool and river. Kayaks and SUPs are provided for guests to enjoy. Please use the safety equipment provided and supervise children around the water at all times. The house accommodates a maximum of 8 guests.
