Frequent visits by owls, deer, turkey, foxes and bears; & a riot of woodland flowers in spring. Area roads are low traffic and ideal for walking & biking. Just 15 minutes to Boone & unique shopping, breweries & dining; & ASU! Enjoy the shared deck, birds, trees, water sounds & a lovely valley view. The space Private entry bedroom suite with private bath, mountain rustic decor with modern amenities, seasonal decor to celebrate seasons and holidays, and special touches to help celebrate your special occasions. Guest access porch, deck, woodlands on property & laundry for extended stays and host assistance. During your stay Hosts are usually around the home and just a phone call away. Other things to note ****Winter Advisory when it snows****See "Getting around" section. Boone is 15-20 minutes away from the Bear Pause Inn. Food delivery services do not come out to our area. No air conditioning but rarely needed. Ceiling fan and Dyson fan/heater provided. Keurig coffees, teas, fixin's and snack bars provided. Please be aware that we have 2 cats that are not allowed in guest area and peanut snack bags in kitchen. One host has dog dander allergies and since we are a shared space we cannot accommodate dogs. Cell service can be spotty but calling out on host wi-fi seems to work well. I can provide our land-line # for guests to provide to family or work should "on-call" or emergency contact info be necessary. Hosts live in remainder of house so expect normal household noises with respect to quiet hours and guests.
