"Arras Beag" lochside cottage

Arras Beag is a stunning waterfront property in a beautifully peaceful location. Sleeping 4 people in 2 bedrooms (plus an additional sofa bed sleeping 2) the house has been completely upgraded and renovated to a very high standard. With panoramic views over the Loch, surrounding mountains and Eilean Donan castle, yet within a mile of picturesque Dornie where you’ll find a pub, post office, shop and bakery/pizza takeaway. The space Newly renovated in 2019, the house has a contemporary wood burner in the centre of the beautiful open plan living area, with 2 large comfy sofas facing the double patio doors, so you can relax while looking out on the water, where otters and seals often play. The huge wrap around deck gives generous outdoor space for relaxing, dining and taking in the gorgeous scenery. All rooms are on the same level and the house is designed with wide doors so is accessible for those with less mobility. The double bedroom (king size bed) has patio doors leading onto the deck and a further large picture window with a stunning view over the water towards Killilan. There is an en-suite bathroom off this bedroom, with a large luxury bathtub underneath another picture window, and also a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom had twin beds and the second bathroom, with a shower, is just opposite. We welcome well behaved dogs, who will love the direct access to the Loch in front of the house. A long, private drive gives plenty of parking space for several vehicles, Perfect as a base for touring the Highlands and the Isle of Skye (9 miles to the Skye Bridge), but we’re sure you’ll want to spend lots of your time at Arras Beag ( which incidentally is Gaelic for “Little Paradise” Registration Details HI-10424-F
