Paradise on the Beach in Matarangi, Coromandel

Modern holiday home, on the beach in the prestigious Pines enclave. This stylish, contemporary 4 bed home is set on 1 level & will sleep 2/3 families & 14 guests. The home is on 2330m of land in a forest setting with a large flat beachfront lawn. The 4.5km white sand beach is a short stroll across the foreshore reserve & the golf course is a 2min walk away. The rear deck enjoys forest views whilst the master & guest bedrooms, living areas & front deck all enjoy glorious unobstructed sea views. The space Welcome to Paradise! Our house offers you a private and tranquil retreat with all modern amenities included: heat pump, dishwasher, microwave, waste-master, electric oven with ceramic hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine & dryer, indoor/outdoor beanbags, outdoor furniture & umbrella, gas BBQ, Sky TV (Sports package) and stereo system for IPOD or phone with internal and external zones for playing music. You will need to download the Sonos app from the App Store, if you do not already have it, and select ‘join our Sonos’. You can watch TV on the generous comfy living room sofas or watch dvd's (our coffee table drawers offer an excellent selection for all ages) in both the living & the bunk room. The 10 seater dining table is perfect for family meals, board games and jigsaw puzzles (both of which there are plenty to choose from). The generous kitchen bench top has 5 bar stools for extra family to eat at. The cellphone connection is fine at the house, but best on the beach itself as the telecommunication tower is on the hill at the start the beach. There is complimentary unlimited fibre at the house. We take great care of our large, flat, front lawn which is perfect for fun and games. Refrain from taking golf shots from it and instead, take advantage of the world class 18-hole golf course, just minutes away. Access to private tennis courts is across the road, the combination code will be provided. The house features open plan living with 2 wings either end; one end with master & ensuite, twin bedroom and laundry with outdoor shower access. The other with a super king bedroom, bunk room with 8 bunks, separate w/c and bathroom featuring a large corner bath. You will fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to the sound of birdsong! All linen is provided. This includes bath, hand & beach towels including bath mats and tea towels. The bedding is quality 100% cotton. We aim to supply toilet roll and kitchen roll for your stay and there should be a supply of hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash available. There are pantry basics of tea, salt, sugar & flour. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, toaster, kettle, sandwich toaster, platters, boards, coffee plunger, a Nespresso capsule machine, blenders, crockery, cutlery and water & wine glasses, plus plenty of tea towels and dish cloths. Whilst we understand the house and our beautiful front lawn is ideal for an event such as a wedding, we do not to allow these under any circumstances and no tent or similar should be erected unless approved prior. Guest access Access is to all areas, apart from the shed next to the outdoor shower, which will be locked. Other things to note All linen, including house and beach towels are provided. As is a supply of toilet paper, kitchen roll, bin bags, dishwasher tablets, hand wash, washing up liquid, general cleaning products and pantry basics such as tea, salt and pepper. Please help yourselves and be kind enough to replace if large quantities are used. The red lidded bin is for household waste. This is collected weekly by a private contractor on a Tuesday. We will advise you if this bin needs putting out on the road during your stay. The yellow lidded bin is for recycling. The green bins are for glass. These are both collected on a Wednesday by the council. The dump is situated at the entrance to Matarangi and can be visited anytime. We do not allow weddings or any other large gatherings to be held at the house and no tent or similar to be erected without prior approval. Please do not touch our automatic lawn sprinkler.
