Our guest suite is on the lower floor of our house in a quiet neighborhood, and is a 15 minute walk and 5 minute drive to a beautiful beach. There are two restaurants 3 blocks from our house, both have views of the ocean and outdoor seating. The suite has a bedroom with a king size bed and closet; also a private bathroom and den. Den is equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, flat screen RokuTV, and microwave. Patio has gas fire pit, small deck, and hot tub. The space Newly remodeled completely private suite on the first floor of our home in Rio Del Mar. Walk to Seascape Beach. Short drive to wine tasting, hikes in the redwoods, and Santa Cruz, 40 minute drive to Monterey Bay Aquarium, hour and 15 drive to Big Sur. We live upstairs and the suite is the downstairs. We have a small 10 year old terrier named Phoebe that barks when people arrive but we will keep her barking to a minimum. She won't be allowed in suite or yard unless you request to be introduced. We are in a great location for beach lovers. This area has many great restaurants, breweries, wineries, and hiking trails near by at Nisene Marks State Park. Guest access Lower deck, stone patio, gas fire pit, waterfall, outdoor shower, hot tub and tropical landscaped yard for guest enjoyment. We provide beach chairs in the bin just inside the gate. The downstairs garden and patio is your private space to enjoy. Other things to note When you arrive you can park on the street to the right of the driveway. We'll keep one side of the driveway open for loading or unloading. Once inside the gate to the left of the driveway, just follow the sea turtles to the back of the house where you’ll find your private entrance. We have added a 240 volt 40 amp universal charger that’s available for our guests who drive EV’s, (electric vehicles).
