Welcome to Zarafa House, a charming B&B nestled within a private walled compound, offering a serene tropical garden setting adorned with two majestic Baobab trees. Our rooms combine the comfort and amenities of a hotel with the warmth and personal touch of a guesthouse, creating a welcoming "home away from home" experience. Relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings at Diani Beach's hidden gem. The space The Mahaba Family Room offers a spacious and comfortable retreat for families, featuring an en-suite bathroom. For added convenience, we can provide a single bed (additional charge) and/or a baby cot (free of charge) to accommodate your family's needs. This room is beautifully decorated with coastal Kenyan touches and opens up to its own private veranda, where you can relax and enjoy views of the lush garden and large swimming pool. The room includes a dedicated workspace and is equipped with modern amenities such as air-conditioning (extra charge), a ceiling fan, mosquito net, safety box, EU & UK power outlets, and coffee & tea making facilities. Fresh bed linen is provided every 2–3 days, depending on the length of your stay. The private bathroom features a hot water shower, sink, and toilet, along with towels, a hairdryer, mineral water, and organic toiletries for your comfort. Guest access As our guest(s), you have full access to the beautiful shared spaces at Zarafa House. Feel free to relax in the lush tropical garden, take a refreshing dip in the large swimming pool, or unwind on your private veranda. For entertainment, head upstairs to the lounge, where you can enjoy a selection of board games, as well as a TV with Netflix and DStv for your viewing pleasure. While we are not a self-catering property, you are welcome to use the fridge and microwave for your convenience. Plates and cutlery are also available for your use. If you need anything else, feel free to ask – we’re happy to assist in making your stay comfortable! During your stay I live on the property as well, so don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything. If I'm not around, one of my staff members will always be available to assist you with whatever you may need. Other things to note We offer lunch and dinner upon request for an additional charge. Please order your meal in advance so our chef has enough time to shop for fresh ingredients and prepare your meal to perfection. We also have a suggestions menu available for your convenience. For your enjoyment, we have an honesty bar stocked with drinks, allowing you to help yourself whenever you like.
