Centrally located off Hwy 1 makes it a short drive to Monterey Bay Aquarium and fine restaurants. Just past Monterey is the town of Carmel where you will find the famous Pebble Beach Golf, Scenic 17 Mile Drive & many artist galleries. Day trip to Big Sir home of amazing waterfalls & Bixby Bridge. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a living room, kitchen and family room with TV. Large backyard area with gas BBQ, a fire pit that is perfect to toast marshmallows for your S'mores, as well as basketball hoop for a friendly game. The renter has excess to the whole house and back yard, lot of parking spaces. You will be greeted upon arrival via the Ring Doorbell/Camera to ensure entry through the keypad door lock goes smoothly. I am also available by text or phone. Moss Landing started as a small fishing village so you can visit the marina (dock A) and buy fresh fish and crab directly from the boat. A small convenience market is within a half block walk of the house, if anything is needed - possibly one of the largest selection of Oreos can be found here. 60 minutes from San Jose International Airport and 15 minutes to Monterey Airport. Car rental services are available at both airports, MST (Monterey Salinas Transit) bus service is short walk from house, as well as Uber and Lyft. Moss Landing is home to Elkhorn Slough, Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute and the Moss Landing Marine Labs and with that has many unique opportunities for exploring. Elkhorn Slough Safari provides ample opportunity to see otters, seals, and multitude of birds native to the area. Whale watching tours will allow you to get up close with many variety of whales and dolphins. It's pretty amazing. Lots of recreational activities are available within town such as kayaking, paddle boarding, water bikes and surfing or just enjoying the beach. There are multiple walking trails and biking paths too!
